Hate The Action But Not The Person
This is what Jesus did for all of us. He hates our sins, but still, He loves us so much. He doesn’t look at our mistakes. Instead, He chose to die on the cross just to show us that we are important and valuable in His eyes. Jesus shows us what forgiveness and mercy are all about. I pray that we will be able to do the same thing to those who caused us pain. May we look at their actions instead of hating them as a person. May we love them just like what Jesus did. Let’s not focus on the wrong things that they did. Instead, we need to acknowledge the truth that they are also human, and just like you, they also commit mistakes in life.
It’s not easy to forgive someone, especially when you deeply trust the person. Sometimes, we receive pain because we also have our own expectations. If the people around us can’t do what we expect them to do, we feel disappointed and hurt. We tend to blame them for what happened. But what if our expectations are just too high for them to achieve? What if they are trying their best, but they just don’t have enough courage to make it? Remember that they also have some battles inside. Their mistakes are not their identity. They may hurt you, but at the end of the day, you always have the choice to set yourself free from the pain you feel by releasing forgiveness.
Learn to move according to God’s grace. We are not perfect, but God accepts our imperfections. He knows all your weaknesses. That’s why He can be the ultimate source of your strength. God’s grace is just so amazing to the point that He saved us from our sins. Always remember the love of God in your life so that you will have enough courage to love others. We are called to love the people around us. God wants us to share the blessings that we received from Him.
Allow God to love you so that He can teach you how to love those people who broke your heart. He is the only one who can teach you how to forgive someone. His love will heal the pain inside. So trust in Him, and you will experience victories in His arms. Remember that God loves everyone, and that includes those people who sinned against you. And He also wanted you to love them just like what He did. You can’t make it on your own. But if you will allow Him, He will give you the kind of heart who is willing to accept the imperfections of others.

This is timely for me. I am stuck between to forgive and to hate the family member I trust and broke my heart, I ask the Lord in prayer of what to respond and for I am struggling. This message is for me from the Lord, I am praying that the Lord will strengthen and sustain me to apply His word as my response to the people I loved but broke my heart and trust.
Praise God🙏
