How to Wait

Wait for the right person
Wait for someone
Who loves Jesus with all his heart
Even if he is imperfect

He may be a work in progress
But He will treat you
Like a God’s princess
With kindness and loyalty

He will be a better version
You will see his transformation
If you welcome him
If you let him in

Wait for the person
Who is humble enough
To accept his mistakes
Who acknowledges corrections

Wait for someone
Who’s willing to surrender to God
A person who treats himself
As a child of God

Wait, and don’t hurry
Focus on the character
And as you wait
Let God change your heart

When you face the person
That you’ve been praying for
Remember that God is faithful
He knows the perfect timing

Continue to grow in His presence
And choose to abide in His will
Keep connecting to Him
And trust in His ways

God is moving
He is writing your love story
So keep your faith
It will be worth the wait
