How You React To Your Situation Matters On How You See Yourself
You need to get to know yourself so that you will be able to properly deal with the situations around you. You will see the state of your heart when you learn to evaluate your reactions towards everything that’s going on in your life. Because how you react to the circumstances you face in life is just a reflection of how you see yourself. So work on the inside first, and everything else will follow. You need to go through a certain process so that you will learn and grow.
Try to evaluate the way you see things. If what you are thinking right now is all negative, then you may also think negative things about yourself. If you keep looking at others’ mistakes, you probably also condemn yourself for all the mistakes you made. If you wanted to change the way you look at things, you need to first change how you look at yourself. You need to start dealing with things that you can control, and that’s basically taking responsibility for your own life.
Learn to love yourself. You can’t appreciate others and the situations around you if you don’t know how to value yourself. It may be challenging for you to do it, but you can start by simply acknowledging the truth that you deserve to be loved. You are a treasure in the eyes of your Heavenly Father.
God created you so only Him knows your identity. Choose to listen to Him than listening to the lies of the enemy. You will learn to value yourself the moment you will accept His love. He will teach you how to embrace your imperfections. Let Him be the source of your understanding. God will deal with your heart, and His great love will lead you to see yourself the way He sees you. If you only realize how important you are in the eyes of God, your heart will probably melt. So be confident in the Lord, and only then will you be able to change how you look at the situations around you. He will reveal to you His mysteries, and you will learn to treat yourself differently.
