I Surrender Everything To You Lord

I don’t know what will happen next, but I surrender everything to you, Lord.

I surrender all my worries, and fears. All this time, I thought that the only way for me to deal with my problems is to control everything. But sadly, it became the reason why I feel so anxious right now. I realized that there are just things in life that I can’t control.

That’s why, I surrender everything to you, Lord.

I surrender my dreams to You, Lord.
I thought I had to carry everything on my own, relying on my strength and striving to make things happen.

I forgot about Your grace.
I forgot that I was never meant to do this alone.

But now I see that You have been there all along,
ready and willing to help me every step of the way.

I surrender everything to you, Lord including the people I love.

There are times when I can’t help but worry about them.
I find myself thinking about their safety, their health, even the choices they make in life.

But I forget that even before You allowed me to meet them,
You are already their Father.
You are their God, and You love them even more than I ever could

I surrender everything to you, Lord, including all my wounds.

I really thought I could heal myself just by trying harder.
I thought that if I cried it all out and fully felt the pain, I would eventually feel better. But it wasn’t happening.

I forgot that You know my heart more than anything else.
I thought I understood myself better, but in the end, You are the One who sees my wounds and the story behind my pain.

And because of that, You know how to heal me.
You know how to restore my heart again.
