In this World full of Lies, May God’s Truth Becomes your Source of Hope
You will meet circumstances that will challenge your principles in life. You will encounter people who appear so good and kind at first but then hurt you in the end. Sometimes, you will doubt the truth that you believe in because of the harsh reality of this life. You will go through moments when you just don’t know what’s the truth anymore. You will ask so many questions. But even if you experience the darkest seasons, may you choose to hold on to God’s truth and keep on going. You may not always see the evidence of His goodness and faithfulness, but just stay with Him. You may not always appreciate His instructions and promises, but keep holding on because He alone knows the truth. He is an all-knowing God. His wisdom surpasses your understanding.
Feed your mind with His truth. Read His word. Remind yourself that your own knowledge is not enough. Rely on the scripture. Study the stories and the ways of God. Familiarize His promises so that when you are bombarded with lies and temptation, you can then easily attack them with God’s truth. His word is like a sword that pierces through the negative thoughts and wrong perspective in your head. They are like sharp blades that can easily cut the lies that you believe in. So come to His presence. Connect to the Holy Spirit every single day, and only then will you slowly learn to appreciate the light that God wants you to embrace.
You will never be consumed by the darkness if you’ll just learn to listen to His voice. You need His guidance. You can’t just rely on what people are telling you. Please don’t depend on the principles of this world. Choose to stand in the presence of God and let your foundation be rooted in His love. The enemy can absolutely attack you if your mind is not guarded by His truth. You need to saturate yourself with ideas and thoughts that are aligned with God. Consult Him every single day, and the darkness around you will fade. You need to be intentional. You will never overcome the battle if you will just sit and do nothing. Consistently seek God and be mindful of His will.
There is still hope. Don’t dwell on what’s wrong. Instead, focus on the things that you can learn. The lies that you encounter will simply open your eyes to the status of your mind. The moment you recognize the things that you need to change, that’s when you will start to grow. It’s when the truth will sprout. The journey of overcoming the pain won’t be that easy, but remember that once the lies are exposed, it means it’s time for God’s truth to prevail. Be guided by His grace and wisdom. Be more dependent on His word. And one day, you will learn to handle every lie that comes your way.
