It’s important to have an Intimate Conversation with God
Talk to God and share with Him your heart. If you are sad and in pain, then cry out to Him. If you are scared and nervous, then tell Him all your worries and cares. Do not pretend as if everything is going fine. You can trust God. He will never disappoint or betray you. You can be so vulnerable to Him. He will never turn His back on you. He will rejoice in your victories, and He will cry with you when you are down. Release what you feel to Him, and He will listen. Make it your priority. Let your intimate conversation with Him lead you closer to His heart.
God is speaking, but you fail to hear Him because you are too busy. You can’t easily notice His blessings because you are too focused on what you want to happen. Take some time to rest and ponder about your life. Pause for a while and choose to thank Him for what you have.
Your daily conversation with God is like an intimate prayer. It’s a perfect time for you to release the burden in your heart. It’s the moment when you can share the deepest wound you have inside. You can tell Him your frustrations, failed expectations, and disappointments. You can share to Him your dreams, aspirations, your desires, and the things that can truly make you happy. He will attentively listen to you and make you feel acknowledged. His presence will be there to give you the assurance that the things you expose to Him in secret will always be safe. He loves to hear your heart. He knows what’s going on inside, but it feels different when you share it with Him. It seems like the weight is slowly lifted up. And you will then receive the kind of peace that surpasses all understanding.
Remember that what you have with God is not just a religion but a personal relationship. It’s not just about going to church or participating in ministries, but it’s more about your daily devotion to Him. It’s about your connection to His heart and the way you feel His presence. Religion will only teach you to do the right thing, but in your relationship with God, you will discover the reason why you need to follow Him. And it’s not just about responsibilities, but it’s more about grace. Sometimes, the church will require you to do so many things, but in the presence of God, He will just ask you to stay and focus on Him. If you put Him first, everything else will follow. And change starts the moment you start talking to Him intimately.
God is not just your King, but He is also your Father. It means that you can approach Him like a child who is longing for His love. You can openly communicate to Him all your needs and wants. He won’t judge or make you feel condemned for what you feel. He will be there to provide you what you need. Treat Him as your loving Father, and your relationship with Him will never be the same.
