It’s Not Somebody else’s job to make you Whole and Complete

We all go through brokenness and pain. Sometimes, the things that we experienced will lead us to a wounded heart. We will then seek a place where we can find joy and happiness. But sad to say, there are instances when we unknowingly treat other people as our healers. We forget that they are just like us. They are also broken and imperfect. That’s why, before anything worst will happen, we need to remember that it’s not somebody else’s job to make us whole and complete. You and I are given a gift called free will. Nobody else can dictate your heart and the way you see things. At the end of the day, your life will always be a product of your choices.

You are in charge of your own life. God even gives you the chance to decide which way you wanted to go. He never treated you like a robot. He acknowledges your right to choose things that you think will benefit you in the end. He will only intervene when you needed help, but He is still supporting you along the way. Nobody else can change your life except you. An imperfect person can never heal your wounded heart. They don’t have the power to dictate you. They may help you along the healing process, but they can’t give you the medicine you need.

Never depend your happiness according to other people’s behavior. You may think that you feel happy and fulfilled every time they do something good to you, but at the end of the day, those people are also human. They also have flaws, and they are not perfect. There will be moments when you will feel so broken because of their actions. And that’s when you end up so disappointed because of what they did in your life. Stop depending on them and learn to set your eyes on God. Trust in His love, and He will fill your heart with joy that you can never contain.

Seek God because He alone can make you whole. His love is always perfect, and He will never fail you. He will lead you back in His arms as long as you allow Him to reign inside. Remember that He is your creator. He knows the things that can satisfy your heart. Depend on His grace, and He will make you strong and complete. You will never feel empty in His arms.
