John 12:50, NIV

Jesus chose to follow the commands of our Heavenly Father because He knew that it leads to eternal life. Even if that command means that He will suffer and die for our sins. That’s how He respects God and His authority in His life. He didn’t live for the sake of fulfilling His own desires. He chose to obey. This is a reminder for us to be obedient to our Savior. May we have the kind of heart that humbly receives His words with conviction and faith. We may not always understand His ways, but just like how He followed our Heavenly Father, may we also have the courage to obey Him even in moments when we experience so many obstacles and problems.

I pray that you will also follow and obey the voice of your Savior.
