John 19:7, NIV

Jesus was accused as the son of God. Even if this is the truth, He was punished because of what He did. He suffered because the people around him couldn’t bear the truth that He was carrying. But despite the pain that He experienced, Jesus kept going. He never allowed the treatment of other people to stop Him from doing the will of the Father. He focused on what He needed to do not for the sake of protecting Himself but for the sake of the people that He loves. He chose to fight for the truth and followed the command of the Father. Jesus showed us to keep on following the will of the Father even if it means going through suffering.
