Faith

Just because you Experience Pain doesn’t mean God is not there

The negative things in your life can never invalidate God’s goodness and love. No matter how many storms and obstacles you will encounter, God’s faithfulness will always surround you with more than enough blessings. His existence is not defined according to the situation that you are in. He is God. He is powerful enough to transform everything in a split second. So don’t judge His love according to the pain you feel. God never leaves your side. Just because you are struggling doesn’t mean He is not there. He always extends His hands to help you. Maybe you can’t appreciate Him because He moves in ways you never expect. So instead of doubting His love, choose to stay with Him. Keep your faith even when things are different from what you hoped to happen. Stay faithful to God even in the midst of storms and He will give you a better perspective on the pain that you are going through.

What you feel is an indication that you try to love others. Strangers can never break your heart. Those that you deeply love are the ones who can hurt you. It’s because you have already become so vulnerable with them to the point that you trust them enough to take good care of your heart. But the sad truth is we are all imperfect humans. And we tend to disappoint or frustrate other people. That’s why there is pain because of the sins and imperfections that we are carrying. But that doesn’t mean there’s no hope left. We can still experience true love in the arms of God. He alone can satisfy and fulfill the desires of our hearts. So instead of expecting others to give us the love that only God can give. Why not set our eyes on our heavenly Father and let His love reign? When you choose to follow God’s voice, He will teach you how to slowly overcome the pain.

Remember that God wants you to grow. He would rather choose your growth rather than your comfort. Most of the time, His process is painful. He will allow you to go through many obstacles so that you will learn to be more dependent on Him. The pain is present because He needs to take away the bitter and unhealthy roots that will prevent you from bearing fruits. He needs to prune you so that the unnecessary things in your life will be replaced with what’s important. Things won’t happen the way you want them to, but if you only keep on walking with God, then you will realize that behind the pain is a great blessing.

God takes good care of you. He loved you even before you knew Him. So trust that your life will be better despite the pain. Patiently wait for His hands to move and let Him open the eyes of your heart so that you will slowly appreciate the things that He is doing behind the scenes. When you are full of His love, you will also have the courage to keep walking. His promises will be there to strengthen you. He will put the broken pieces back together and turn them into a masterpiece. One day, the pain will lead you to experience more of Him.
