Learn To Accept Your Flaws First Then You Will Know What Genuine Love Is

We are not perfect. One way or another, we all have flaws that we wanted to hide. But at the end of the day, hiding the things that are meant to be appreciated will keep us from genuine happiness. So before you go on with your life. Try to pause for a while and remind this to yourself. You are awesome and unique. Please learn to appreciate it.

We are living in a modern world where perfection is already a norm, especially in social media. Your dress needs to be perfect. Your grammar and the way you wanted to express yourself is very significant for others. We are so caught up with the standards of this world that we tend to forget what matters most in life. We are hiding the things that others should see, and we tend to present ourselves as someone perfect.

I just wanted to remind you that you are a great person. And one of the things that make you great is you still try to put things together even though you know that it’s not perfect. But if you are still hiding yourself right now and just want to keep the flaws for your own sake, remember that there are few good people who deserve to see the imperfections inside. You just have to give them the chance to do it.

But you can’t allow others to appreciate you if you don’t know how to accept yourself. So before anything else, you need to love yourself with all your heart. Treasure every flaw that you have, for that will make you realize what genuine love is. Accept that we all commit mistakes. We don’t have perfect memories. We all experience brokenness, and we sometimes forget that after all, we are just humans.

God accepts you for who you are, and through His faithfulness in your life, He will prove to you that you are loved and that He appreciates every flaw you have. Humans are not perfect, and I believe God did it for a purpose. Maybe because He wanted to make us realize that nothing can change His love for us. Not even our own imperfections.

The moment you will learn to accept yourself. You will then be able to love others. You will learn to appreciate them not because of what they can do to you, but because of who they are in your eyes. When you are given a chance to see the real them, they are merely giving you a very wonderful opportunity to love them as well. I hope you will always have the courage to do it because I believe those who choose to love always experience true happiness inside.
