Thirsty
Hungry
Broken
Longing for something

Wounded
Hopeless
Weary and tired
It’s so messed up inside

This is what it feels like
To live in the darkness
Your future is missing
And you are always hurting

You will look for instant pleasures
But it will only last for a moment
You think that you’re happy
But it breaks your heart in the end

Life is empty
Without God’s guidance
It is meaningless
And full of pain

So if you want to be happy
Then choose light over darkness
If you want to feel loved
