Listen to the Voice of God and you will Grow
God knows you from the inside out. That’s why you need to consult and listen to Him. Sometimes, when we are too caught up with our problems and pain, we tend to follow our own understanding, thinking that what we have in mind is the right thing. We find solutions and make decisions according to our own judgment, not thinking that God is always sovereign. We treat ourselves as god and stop listening to Him. This is the reason why we experience so many consequences of our bad decisions. We chose our own way instead of acknowledging the instructions of God. Because of this, our ego became a hindrance to the growth that God wants us to experience.
Stop following your own will. Acknowledge the truth that there are still so many things that you need to learn. That’s why, you don’t rely on your own understanding. Humbly listen to God’s voice. Surrender your own thoughts and allow Him to take over. Remember that there are things you can’t control. Because of this, you badly need God’s help and support. You need to consult Him every single day so that you will be guided. It takes faith and humility to follow God’s will. Never forget that you can’t live this life on your own. You need His love and protection. You badly need His grace and instructions.
Listen to God. Don’t follow your own voice or the voices of those people who don’t even know you. Fix your gaze on your Creator. Focus on Him. Let Him reign in your heart and consume your thoughts. Fill your mind with His words so that you will be more familiar with His voice. Trust Him. He is leading you. He wants to protect you. It’s just there are times when you choose to do your own will instead of following Him. There are days when you listen to your voice instead of humbly acknowledging His plans. Just go back and stay in His presence. Walk with Him, and don’t be afraid.
Let Him take you to the path that He orchestrated. It may not be easy because there are days when you find it hard to recognize His voice, but if you are His sheep, then you will hear Him. The Holy Spirit will minister to your soul. He will speak, and He will give you instructions. Growth happens when you stay in His arms and abide in His way. It becomes so evident the moment you listen to Him. Follow Him and go outside your comfort zone. It would be very uncomfortable at first, but your journey with Jesus is always worth the pain and tears. Just listen to Him, and you will be guided.
