Live Your Present Like it’s The Only Time You Have

You can’t avoid getting too bombarded with what to do to get your goals. There are times when your mind just freely wonders what is to happen until it reaches the point that it’ll trap you with worries and concerns about things that are not yet happening. You get so concerned about what might happen that in every step you take, you can’t ignore but doubt what’s coming. You base your decisions on your past and things that happened where you lay your regrets into. Because of it, you fill your life with something that you seem too particular about what would happen, even if nothing is happening yet.

When you set things, you tend to lay out your plans, what you will do, and what might happen. Sometimes, with the whisper of different voices of the people around you, you would doubt if the outcome would be good or not. If also, the result would beget the effort you have sacrificed in getting what you want. You always set your mind that you will never make the same mistake again. Making mistakes is what you would always avoid getting into. You might mind the risk and be confident about it, but the error waiting ahead isn’t something you prepared yourself for.

You would sometimes forget the possibilities of the outcome that will happen. For example, you want to avoid losing as much as you can. You want to be good at whatever you do, especially if you have already poured a lot of effort into it. Still, you forget the fact anything could happen at any time. You ignore that you cannot control time, even the situation. That is why it is vital to think and mind that you have to free yourself from measuring and controlling. This way, it might help you worry less about what is not yet happening and focus on what you have now, like at this very moment.

Try to put consciousness in everything you do. Get yourself started with what you have and what you need to do at this moment. Do not overthink about what isn’t there yet. Remember that God moves in ways we cannot see. He does things in ways we cannot always understand. Have it in your heart and believe that you may not control the situation, but He can. He knows how to do things, and He is wise. Please do not stick yourself to the past, nor should you imprison yourself with the thoughts of the future. Pray to God for guidance and wisdom. Ask Him to teach your heart how patience and faith work.
