He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ ”

Jesus has risen! He didn’t stay in the tomb. He didn’t dwell in the darkness. He is alive. It means that He already conquered death. He overcame the principalities of this world. And because of that, everyone who believes in Him has the right to experience freedom and victory. So take heart, weary soul! There is still hope. The Savior of this world overcame the grave. So believe in Him. Treat Him as your King, and you will experience the victory that He experienced on the grave. You can still rise from the darkness. Allow Jesus to raise you up and set you free.
I pray that you will never forget that Jesus holds the victory.
