May you have the Courage to Choose what Matters most in the End
This world will present to you so many aspects that you need to prioritize, and the challenge is, how will you be able to choose the right priorities? Your decision-making abilities will be tested along the way. You will encounter situations that will make you realize the things that you value in life. And when you are in the middle of the storm, God will slowly open your eyes to the things that you treated as important, but in reality, it will lead you to destruction. That’s why it takes a courageous heart to accept the truth that we sometimes choose the wrong priorities. It takes humility to acknowledge God’s will above our own wants and desires. There are days when our selfish motives want to reign, and we forget what matters most in the end. This is the reason why we need God along the journey.
He is the One who will remind us of the things to prioritize. When we are so occupied with our own problems, we tend to act as if we are revolving in our own worlds. We limit our understanding according to our experiences and what we learn. We easily forget that we are not alone. We overlook the important things because we always think of our own good. There’s nothing wrong with thinking about yourself, but it becomes destructive the moment you choose to only listen to your own voice. You need guidance. You need the Holy Spirit to remind you what’s important in the end. Your mind can easily get swayed by the overwhelming challenges that you face. That’s why you need a constant companion.
Come in God’s presence, and He will help you realize the most valuable treasures in your life. Ask for His help, and He will be there to open the eyes of your heart. Some important blessings are those you can’t see or touch, and God can help you discern them. He will give you a sensitive heart that can determine the things that you need to put first. Let Him be the King of your life, and He will teach you how to manage your schedule for His glory. God’s instructions will serve as a compass that will lead you to the eternal treasures that He prepared.
Align your perspective to God. May the things that are important to Him also become significant in your eyes. May you have the courage to obey Him and put His words first above your own emotions and understanding. May you accept the truth that God alone can lead you to the things that matter most. He will give you more than enough strength. Just humbly seek His will, and don’t treat yourself as the god of your life. Respect our Heavenly Father’s sovereignty, and you will make it. Soon, you will victoriously finish the journey.
