Maybe what you need is Rest
If you don’t know what to do, if you are so confused about the next step that you must take, then maybe what you need is rest. Your mind can’t properly think of solutions if it’s too occupied with so many things. You need to take a break and give yourself the chance to just feel the air that you breathe. Pause for a while and do anything that will refresh your soul. Keep yourself away from stress and a toxic environment. Give yourself enough time to relax.
Regain your strength, and when your mind and body are ready, they will function properly. Your efforts will be limited if you will not take some rest. Remember that you are not a robot. You may think that rest is too expensive for you since it requires time and you need to work for a living, but don’t compromise your health just for the sake of gaining more wealth. Remember that real treasures can never be bought with money. Don’t wait until your body pushes you to pause and take some rest because it might be too late.
Remember that you only have one body. If you lose your money, you can still replace them. But if even one part of your body gets sick, it would be hard for you to restore it. You can’t take back the decisions you made in the past. You can’t go back and change the way you handle your body. You will always reap what you sow. So don’t wait for things to get worst. Take good care of your health because, without your body, you can’t do anything. Remember what matters most in life. Stop worrying about your finances or career.
Do what you can do and allow God to help you. Let Him move in your life. Let His love give you the assurance that everything will be alright. Honor God by the way you handle your body. It is God’s temple, so nourish it while He still gives you another day to live. It is one of the best resources that God has given you. So steward it with the best that you can. Don’t wait until you experience body pain before you decide to take a break. Let your health be part of your priorities, and you will have the strength you need.
You can’t make justifiable decisions if your mind is too exhausted. If you have a lot of things going on in your life and you find yourself so confused and tired. Then it’s a sign for you to pause for a while. You need to go back to the place where you can feel God’s presence. Find rest in His arms and let His love comfort you. Pray for His peace to reign in your life and open your heart so that His power can come in. Rely on His goodness and remember His promises. Find time to express what you feel inside. Connect to God, surrender to him what you truly feel.
You can also talk to your friends and share with them the things that are going on in your life. Release the heavy burdens within because they will slowly bring you down and take away your joy. You can also go to a place where you can be alone. Take some time to recharge your body and soul. Remember that it’s not a waste of time or money. You deserve to feel relieved and fulfilled. Go and take a vacation. Do what you love to do. Allow yourself to gain a better perspective in life. When your body is ready, and your mind is free, then you can easily think of ways on how to properly handle your problems.
God created the night to remind you to rest. Get enough sleep. Even God Himself took a rest on the seventh day of creation. You are not God. Remember that you are just a human being who also has weaknesses. You can’t do anything on your own. So surrender what you can control and go home to your Father. In Him, your soul will be relieved. His love will renew your heart, and His words will purify your thoughts.
Just fill your mind with His instructions, and you will see the light. In Him, you will regain the strength that you need. Listen to your body before it’s too late. Let the sunset remind you that there are things in life that need to rest. Pray that God will teach you how to manage your time properly so that you will know when to take a break. Don’t be in a hurry. Stop pressuring yourself. Acknowledge the truth that you can’t control everything. Surrender your worries to God, and He will give you rest.
