Moving Forward

I had good times in the past
And I do experience so many miracles
I thought that was it
I thought it was the life I’d been waiting for

But, little did I know
God prepared a place for me
And it’s beyond what my mind can perceive
It’s too wonderful that I can’t contain it

I find myself resting
In what I thought my answered prayers
But then God opened my eyes
And He let me see better days ahead

For me to get there,
I need to learn how to let go
I need to step outside
And muster the courage to say goodbye

Moving Forward
It’s one of the hardest things to do
But it’s a crucial part of the process
I need to go through it and be patient
