My Comforter

He knows when I’m sad
He is there when I cry
His arms are wide open
And I’m always welcome in His arms

He is my deliverer
My only Savior
He picks me up when I fall
He is there all along

He is my comforter
He gives me peace within
His warm hugs give me the assurance
That things will be better

He knows my heart
He understands me
He never makes me feel
Guilty or condemned

I can’t live this life without Him
He is the reason I’m here
In His presence alone
I feel whole and complete
