One Day

One day my tears will stop falling
One day all my questions will disappear
One day, there will be no pain,
One day there will be no brokenness

One day I will worship Him together with the angels.
One day I will see His heart-melting smile
One day I will embrace HIM with joy and gladness
But as I wait for that One day,
I’ll choose to dry my tears
because His love carried me all the way

I will stop asking questions
And choose to trust and believe Him
I will surrender all the pain at the foot of the cross
I will choose to receive His glorious healing

I will worship Him
Despite all my fears
I will look at His creations as if He is smiling
And I will embrace Him everyday

In my heart, I will cherish Him
Until that one day comes
When I will finally say
Lord, it’s nice to be with You again
