One Day, You Will Learn To Love Yourself The Way God Loves You

You are loved. This is sometimes the kind of truth that is so hard to comprehend. You may feel like this is a big lie, but whether you believe it or not, YOU ARE LOVED. The negative situation in your life may tempt you to label yourself as useless, but in the eyes of God, you are valuable and important. You may not feel it right now because the pain is so real, but one day, He will teach you how to love yourself. God will show you what you mean to Him. He will lead you to opportunities where you will realize who He truly is in your life. And when that day comes, you will experience the kind of love that will quench your deepest thirst.

God loves to be with you. Maybe you think that God hates you because of the wrong things that you did, but the truth is, He loves you. Yes, He hates sin, but it’s not your identity. He wants you to spend your life with Him. God never hates you. In fact, He sent His son Jesus Christ to redeem you from your sins. He offered His one and only Son just for you to experience eternity with Him. That’s how big and wide His love is. God wants you. He wants you to know and encounter His love.

This is the reason why you need to slowly learn how to love yourself. Stop condemning yourself for the wrong things that you did. Ask for forgiveness and allow God to heal your heart. Surrender to Him the pain and all the questions. After that, choose to let go and give Him the chance to move. You can’t fully love others if you don’t know how to love yourself. You cannot give what you don’t have. So before you decide to serve and take good care of others, make sure that your love tank is not empty. Fill it through God’s love, and you will have the strength to keep moving despite the pain.

One day, you will learn to love yourself. You will accept your flaws and imperfections the way God accepted you. That’s when you will be able to share His selfless love to others. When God fills your heart with His unfailing love, fear can no longer reign. When that happens, you will have the courage to do the things you never did before. Above all, you will learn to love unconditionally, without reservations.
