Only God Knows What’s Ahead

Take heart! Your loving Father knows what’s coming. It means that you shouldn’t be afraid of your future because He has already determined the path you need to take. Just abide in His ways so that you will be guided. If you feel scared of what’s waiting for you on the other side, just close your eyes and imagine that He is smiling while waiting for you to receive His blessings. Take courage! Your past may not be that good, but it doesn’t mean you no longer have a future. The pain that you experienced before can never dictate your life. You may think that you are badly affected by the traumas and fears, but with God, you will be healed.

He prepared everything for you. He determines the opportunities you need and the people you will meet. Maybe you think that some events in your life only happen just by accident, but the truth is, God already ordained the situations that you need to go through. Take the lessons that you’ll learn along the journey so that you will grow into a better person. Your heart will be tested, but He will make it stronger. Your perspective will be changed, and He will let you see better things. Trust that God knows what you need. He is your creator. He knows what’s lacking in your heart. So keep your hopes up. Don’t worry. Instead, receive His peace and assurance.

You are safe in His arms. It doesn’t mean that your life will always be full of gladness. There are still moments when you fall down, but God will be there to catch you. He will help you carry the consequences of your mistakes, and He will turn the bad things into precious treasures. You won’t be destroyed in the end. The enemy may try to keep you away from God’s love, but allow the Holy Spirit to embrace you. Stay in His presence. Call upon His name, especially when you are broken and hurting. He will give you the peace that you need. Keep going. Know that everything will be okay.

Ask His guidance. Don’t follow your own emotions. Sometimes, when we are too consumed by the circumstances we face, we tend to listen to our guts rather than pray to God. Stop making assumptions. Kneel down in His presence and consult Him. Wait for His instructions. Open the Bible, and you will receive so many promises that you can hold on to. He alone can direct you because He designed the path you need to take. Before you go to other people to seek pieces of advice, connect to Him first, and He will give you the favor that you need. Listen to His rebukes. Know that He disciplines the people He loves. Do not take His warnings lightly, and only then will you see His bright light.
