Personal Growth Doesn’t Have To Be A Lonely Journey
You don’t have to travel this life alone. God allowed you to meet a lot of people so that you will learn to journey this life with them. If you aim to develop yourself, especially your character and perspective in life, then you don’t have to do it independently. Yes, it’s something personal. But you can always ask the help of other people. You need to open your heart and mind and allow them to teach and guide you. No man is an island. You need people who are honest enough to correct and lead you to the right path. God has a reason why you meet certain people in your life, and some of them are willing to journey with you. You just have to allow them to come in.
Growing with other people feels fulfilling on the inside, especially when you are given a chance to witness everything that’s going on in their lives. You will know them by heart, and you can testify about the hardships they’ve been through just for them to grow and become a better person. It’s truly a great opportunity for us to witness someone’s personal growth. That’s why, if God gives you the chance to journey with someone, then take that as an opportunity for you to also learn from them.
God doesn’t want you to feel alone. That’s why He allowed you to be surrounded by people. Share the things you’ve learned with someone and give them the chance to share their thoughts. Have a teachable heart and care to listen. When you start to open your mind to different perspectives, it simply means that you are giving yourself the chance to grow and mature. You can learn a lot of things by simply observing and listening to the people around you. And you can also share something valuable with those who are still struggling with the same problems you are facing. Just don’t keep everything on your own.
Stop relying on your own strength and let God help you along the way. Sometimes, He will use other people to guide you. Just pray for a humble heart that’s always willing to accept corrections. God can bring out the best in you, and you will learn to appreciate it the moment you allow other people to journey with you. Yes, it’s a challenging road ahead, but everything is going to be worth it, as long as you learn to walk with others.
