Privileged To Serve Jesus
Paul considered himself a recipient of God’s mercy. He believed that it was an honor to serve God. He recalled the mistakes that he had made before and realized that it was all by God’s grace that he was appointed to preach the gospel outside Jerusalem. And this task wasn’t easy. Paul needed to go through suffering and many persecutions just to share Jesus with others. It took pain and many challenges for him to proclaim the gospel.
But despite all these difficulties, Paul considered himself privileged to serve Jesus. He lived by God’s grace and fully relied on His love and mercy. May we also learn to do the same thing. Let’s remember that, just like Paul, we are all recipients of God’s grace. And it’s always an honor to serve Him and His people.
Even though we have made mistakes in the past, God has entrusted us with taking good care of His resources and giving us the chance to love others. And this is all by His grace. This is not about the things that we did or the sacrifices that we made for Him. But it’s all because of His goodness and love that we can extend His blessings to others.
May we never forget this truth because it will help us stay grounded. Whenever we experience good things in life, may we remember that it was all because of God’s grace. If we are fully aware of the source of the blessings, we will also have the heart to share them with others. May God’s grace and kindness compel us to serve Him and His people wholeheartedly.
Prayer: Father God, thank you so much for reminding us about your wonderful love and for giving us the grace that we need every single day. Please give us a heart willing to serve and glorify your Name. Remind us of the mercy that you showered upon us so that we may never forget that everything that we have right now is all because of your grace. This I ask and pray, in Jesus’ name, amen.
