The story of Pursued

“I am Pursued.”

I keep on declaring these words to myself. It’s my simple reminder that the God of this universe loves me, and I am accepted as who I am. I thought that these words are only meant just for me. I never knew its worth until I was able to share it with everyone else. And now, millions of people are being blessed through this word; “Pursued.”

When I first met Jesus, I encountered Him as my Savior. He saved me from my sins. He redeemed me from the painful past I’ve experienced. He became the God of my life and I thought that it’s enough. But as we journey life together, I realized that He is more than just a God.  Jesus introduced me to God the Father, and I became His child. He introduced me to the Holy Spirit, who is now my teacher. And above all, He allowed me to explore His life through the Bible, and I learned that He is more than just a Savior. Jesus is also my ultimate lover.

Three years ago, I started to feel insecure with the other girls. I first realized this when some questions came to mind after I talked with my friends from college. They were talking about the guys who were courting them and are somehow pursuing them. After that meeting, I asked God these silly questions; “Lord, why is no one pursuing me?” “Am I not that good?” “Why can’t I relate to them?”.

I know that these questions are too silly for some, but for God, I know that He took it seriously because His answers really changed my perspective. God’s response towards these questions were the reason why He led me to create “Pursued”.

I can’t forget what it feels like to hear His answers through a still small voice.

God gently answered me, “I am pursuing you.”

“You are pursued.”

“You are loved.”

“You are my precious princess.”

“My beloved. “

After that, I realized that He is more than enough. Every time I feel so weak and sometimes intimidated, I keep on declaring these words to myself.

“I am pursued by God.”

My relationship with God has never been the same after that. I treated Him as my lover. I experienced a lot of moments with Him, and it’s truly worth it and fulfilling. Though some of those experiences are really painful and difficult, I know that His love will continue to pursue me wherever I go.

God also convicted me to create something that will remind people how much He loves them. And that is why you are reading this right now. You are one of the reasons why God wanted me to create inspirational contents that will remind you of His great love.

The contents that I’ve written on photos, videos, and on the website, were all part of my life. Some of them are my experiences, and some of them are what I learned from my spiritual family and friends.

I hope you will also experience God’s love, just like the way I’ve encountered it. I know that we are all unique, and God will deal with all of us in a very unique way, but I pray that through the contents of this website, you will be reminded that God loves you so much and He will never stop pursuing you.

Thank you for being part of the pursued family. Someday, you will also share your love story with God to someone who badly needs it. Together, let’s look forward to that day when all the people of this world, especially the lost and the broken, will encounter His great Love.

      therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.
      so come, Draw near to me and I will draw near to you.

    Thank you for creating this blog and inspiring people in social media. I also feel this pain of being single. Even if I know God loves me, reminders of His pursuit and love for me is always comforting when sadness creeps in.
