Receive God’s love, and you will know How to Serve others

It would be very hard for you to genuinely serve others if you don’t have enough love inside. So before you go out and spread the light of God, fill your heart first with His love, and only then will you learn how to offer sacrifices for the people around you. We are called to love our neighbors as we love ourselves, and that includes helping them in any way we can. But it’s not easy to do it, especially when you have so many hidden wounds inside. You need to embrace God’s healing and restoration first so that you will have the strength that you need to fully serve others. You can’t do this on your own. So open your heart and be humble enough to accept God’s help.

If you want to serve more people, then be ready to face many obstacles. You can never control their behavior. There are moments when you will face very difficult individuals, and you will find it hard to love them if you don’t have enough courage to do it. Serving them won’t always give you the assurance that your heart will be safe. Still, you will go through painful moments. You will hear negative words from them. That’s why, be rooted in the presence of God and treat Him as your core foundation. Do not take other people’s behavior as something that is against you. Instead, treat them as an opportunity for you to grow and help them even more.

Serving others is just a product of God’s love in your life. It’s just an overflow of His goodness and grace. We shouldn’t treat it as a burden. Sometimes, we only do it because it’s one of His commands, but things feel so different if we do it out of love and compassion. When we focus on the blessings that He provided, we will also be compelled to share what we have with those who are in need. It’s not just a commitment, but it’s about humbling ourselves in the presence of God and asking Him to fill our hearts with His love. We need to acknowledge the truth that He alone can teach us how to genuinely serve others.

Only God knows how to love the people around you. He created them. That means He is aware of the things that are going on in their hearts. So if you wanted to make them feel valued and accepted, come to the Creator first and consult Him. Ask Him about the ways that you can do to support them. If you choose to walk along the journey while holding His hands, you will surely have enough strength to keep on sharing the blessings that you received from Him.
