Rejoicing Comes In The Morning

Better days are coming, and the pain will end. The tears will turn into joyful singing, and rejoicing comes in the morning. It will happen not because of what you will do or the efforts that you will offer. But all because God’s word is true, and it never fails. The agony won’t last forever.

One day, you will see the sun shining and the flowers blooming. You will appreciate the beauty of God’s magnificent creation after the darkness. Keep this in your heart. It may appear impossible at the moment, but it will certainly happen because the God who promised to give you hope and a future is faithful. He will fulfill what He said.

Don’t give up yet. You may feel weak, but this is the perfect moment to trust in His strength. The wounds in your heart will serve as a pathway of His light. He will use them to teach you how to extend his mercy and grace. The pain will build your compassion and kindness towards those who also experience what you went through.

Trust that your life won’t stay that way forever. Remind yourself that God loves you so much. It means He desires you to receive the best things in life. He wants you to cherish the blessings that He prepared.

The challenges will soon become priceless lessons that will lead you to a better tomorrow. Just don’t treat the season that you are in as something that will destroy you. There may be situations that break your heart. But as long as you anchor your decisions to God’s love, that pain will never kill you in the end. In fact, it will mold your heart. It will prune the unfruitful branches so that you will one day flourish.

God’s ways are not always comforting. There are even days when you feel like dying. It’s not easy, but according to the bible, it’s worth it in the end. It’s written in Matthew 7:14, “…small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” May this remind you that following Jesus is challenging. It’s narrow. But in the end, it will lead us to life. That’s the promise given to every follower of Christ.

Those who go through the narrow road and choose Jesus over the temporary rewards of this world will experience life. And when that happens, there will be joyful singing. There will be rejoicing.
