Remember that all your Decisions have Consequences
Please think about the possible consequences of every decision that you make. It can greatly affect your future or even the people around you. Every action follows an outcome. So think twice and stop rushing things. Be patient and seek advice. There’s nothing wrong with making your own decision. It’s your life, and you have the right to do it, but sometimes, we tend to forget the reality when we are too consumed with what we feel. We can’t think properly because we are blinded by our own emotions. If that happens, please don’t do anything that you will regret in the end. Instead, take a pause and let your feelings subside. Allow yourself to rest, and only then will you be able to weigh things according to their consequences.
Include God in every decision that you make. Do not just come to Him when things are already falling apart. He is not just your Savior, but He is the wisest being that you can trust. He understands everything, and He knows the solution to your problems. So do not rely on your own understanding. Put God at the center and create your plans with Him. Align your dreams to His desires, and you will discover your potential. He knows your purpose, and He can lead you in the right direction. Treat Him as your mentor and partner. He will lead you to the right steps, and He will change the way you think.
You are not living this life alone. You are surrounded by people who deeply care for you. And if you make hasty decisions, then they will also be affected. They will also carry the consequences of your actions simply because they love you and they can’t see you suffer. So please consider them as well. Think of the things that will not only benefit yourself but also benefit your family and friends. Do not live life on your own. God wants you to serve others and be in a community where you will feel loved and protected. Treasure the relationship you have and choose to be more considerate.
Strengthen your core values and focus on what’s important. The situations that you will experience will test your perspective and your character. You will be challenged to make decisions that would either build or destroy your future. So the best that you can do is establish your foundation in the Lord so that when uncertainties happen, you will know your priorities, and you will learn to make decisions that will not contradict your faith.
