Romans 6:11,NIV

If you believe that Jesus died and rose in the grave to save you, then you ought to live a new life with Him. You are already dead to sin, just as Jesus died on the cross. Stop living in the darkness. Instead, choose to follow the ways of God. Jesus will lead you to experience the fullness of this life. Stay in His presence and listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit so that you will always be guided. Let the grace that Jesus poured out on the cross lead you to stop sinning. Jesus paid the price to set you free from the bondage of the past. Let His perfect love compel you to serve and glorify His name.

May you count yourself as dead to sin but alive to God in Jesus Christ.
