Self-Love

Self-love is not about being selfish
God commands us to love our neighbors
As we love ourselves
So it would be challenging for us to love others
If we never really know how to love ourselves

Learn to receive God’s love
And you will know how to love yourself
Stop pulling yourself down
Stop thinking of the negative things
Do not listen to the lies of the enemy
Remember who you truly are in the eyes of God

You are His beloved
You are His treasure
So never treat yourself as worthless
Accept your mistakes
And give yourself the chance to grow

Stop pressuring yourself
There are things in life
that must go through the process
Stop condemning yourself
for the things that you did wrong

Jesus will never blame you
In fact, He will wrap His arms around you
And He will make you feel loved and accepted
Learn to forgive yourself
Accept the truth that you are not perfect

God knows your whole story
And He accepts you for who you are
So stop hurting yourself over and over again
Learn to rest in the presence of God

In Him, you will find peace
that surpasses understanding
In Him, you will be redeemed
So stop carrying everything on your shoulders
Stop facing your problems on your own
