Sometimes, God will even use People we don’t like to Teach us
God will use anybody to connect with you. He will use your family to teach you what love is. He will also guide you through your friends, acquaintances, and even strangers with whom you can share short dialogues with. He will use anybody just to connect with you, even people you don’t like. These could be those people who have wronged and hurt you. Even those people that you constantly avoid, God can use them to teach you something.
You may dislike somebody because of their traits and attitude. And that is okay. But there will be those moments when God will allow you to meet people you cannot agree with. People who cannot understand you. They aren’t there to disturb you, but they portray a massive role in your life. They could be the key to your growth. You cannot like someone for no reason. There will always be one. Look closely within you. It could be the trait you have experienced from someone who hurt you or it could be something that involves your past and principles in life.
God isn’t just teaching you how to deal with them but also with yourself – the things you have to change and the things you unconsciously do. It has something to do with the state of your heart and mind. There are reasons why He let your path be entwined with people like them. He might want you to build understanding and patience. Yes, dealing with people you don’t like could teach you how to understand things. The situation could teach you that everyone has different stories. It can teach you how to listen to something that you don’t really like.
God can do anything at any time. That involves teaching you in ways that you cannot comprehend yet. Just remember, everything has its reasons. Every event is fated to teach you something. Do not be in a hurry. Take time and reflect. You will realize that the lessons you are learning are worth it. When people challenge your values, remind yourself that you are stronger than the lies they are planting in you. Look beyond them and beyond the situation. It is actually teaching you something. Ask God and constantly ask for His word. You are growing and learning.
Sometimes, it will be hard to accept things God wants to teach us. Something that we are trying so hard to run away from ourselves can be seen in other people’s lives. But do not worry, you can make it. With a teachable heart, you will soon realize the reasons behind your situation. Remember, you are not just doing it for others but for yourself. Because God loves you, He is giving you the chance to grow.
