Sometimes, the First Step is the Hardest One to Take
A lot of plans are now forming in your mind. You have the desire and hope of being someone more than what you are right now. You have great plans that will take you somewhere and in a bigger space of learning and growing journey. Yet, you might still have difficulty deciding which path to take or the first step to take. You will get confused if the course you’re taking right now is the right one or if the choice that you are making is really meant for you.
Whatever the results, know that this life is full of risks. All of us are clueless about the future. So, do not harden yourself and your heart about the circumstances. Not everyone may believe in you but know that God is constantly blessing you. He has plans for you, plans to prosper you. Right now, He may be building up your character and principles in life. But know that He knows your heart and your desires.
Doubts and fears can hold you back from taking your first step. You might be afraid of uncertainties but know that God is with you along the way. When He orchestrated your future, He already prepared everything for you. It is normal to feel afraid and doubtful but do not stop there. Continue and keep on going. A lot more is waiting for you. Do not get too focused on the whole outcome. Instead, focus on your current step to take.
Be guided by His wisdom when it comes to taking your steps. The first thing will sometimes be the hardest one to take because it holds a burdensome choice to make. All the worries and fear will pour on you and make you ask if you will make it. Yet, the step you take is guided by the one who created everything. It will not always feel so comfortable, but it will be promising.
You will be surprised. You may be having a hard time, but still, you believe and do what is supposed to be done. Just take one step at a time. You will someday find yourself in a place where you earnestly prayed for or in the area where God prepared for you. It will be challenging, but you will be a better version of yourself after. Treasure the lessons that God will teach you. In that journey, you will be able to learn how to depend on Him more and more. It will teach you how to humble yourself and give importance to what you have. It will also help you love and understand yourself better. You will someday realize that He blessed you with capabilities that can help you prosper in life.
God is great and can do more extraordinary things in your life. His blessings are constant, never seized. So, hold on to His promises and continue walking. Take risks, learn, and grow. Let your story also inspire those who are doubting themselves. May your testimony someday bless those people and nourish what God has given them. May it help others to notice and realize how great God’s love is.
