Sometimes, you Unknowingly Neglect the important Blessings because you want Something Else

Focus on the things that matter most in the end. When your mind is bombarded with the standards of this world, there’s a tendency that you will miss the great blessings around you. Because you want something else, you unknowingly neglect the things that you truly need. The spirit of familiarity was already there that you think everything that you have right now will stay forever. You fail to value the presence of the people you love or treasure the opportunities that you have because it seems like they are part of your daily life. But the truth is, nothing is permanent in this world. You will someday lose the important blessings that you receive in the present. Time will come when you will go through a totally different season wherein you can no longer experience the life that you have right now.

So choose to be grateful for what you have. Look at the simple yet very important blessings in your life. The fact that you are still reading this right now is already a huge favor that God gave. Not everyone can receive or read this kind of reminder in their lives. Some are just too busy that they fail to take a pause and reflect. So thank God for this moment. If you are still breathing and can freely move, then that means you are so blessed. Not all people are given a chance to still wake up and experience this day. So be grateful and remind yourself that God already provided you with the things you need. You may have so many dreams that you look forward to, but please don’t dwell too much on what you want to happen that you no longer see the good things around you.

Acknowledge the season that God wants you to experience. He moves in ways you can’t always understand. He allows certain things to happen for a purpose. It’s not there to condemn or punish you. You are in the season because God wants to help you grow. Take it as your opportunity to become a better person. Be present and try to seize every moment that you have, and stop living in the future. You can still hope for the best things to happen, but don’t focus too much on your goals to the point that you can no longer feel appreciate God’s ways in your present.

Live as if you will someday lose the things that you received. Change will always happen in your life. People will come and go. You will receive different opportunities along the way. Your perspective will shift. That’s why you need to treasure everything that you have right now. Spend more time with things and people that truly matter to you. And keep in mind that even your life is temporary. That means you won’t always have all the time that you want. So before it’s too late, try your best to live in the present and thank God for the blessings that He gave.
