Surrender the Shame

You are a child of God
Stop living in the darkness
You are meant to experience freedom
So surrender your shame

Come to your Father
And ask for His forgiveness
Let go of the bitterness inside
And let His blood purify your heart

Do not focus on your mistakes
Humble yourself
And let God change you
Let Him transform your perspective

Jesus already saved you
He wants you to be free
So stop holding on to your sins
Surrender it all to God

And He will teach you
How to forgive yourself
God will be there
To take away your shame
