    Acts 4:3, NIV

They seized Peter and John and, because it was evening, they put them in jail until the next day. Acts 4:3, NIV Jesus’ disciples, Peter and John, experienced persecution because of what they were sharing with the people. It wasn’t that easy for them to proclaim the Messiah because many people were opposed to their beliefs and faith. Because of this, they go through moments when they are seized by the authorities and put in jail. But even though it took so much risk to share the good news during their days, they still persevered. The difficulties that they experienced didn’t stop them from preaching the gospel. That’s why we…

    Day 481 – John 3:30

He must become greater; I must become less.” John 3: 30 This is what John said about Jesus. He knew that His purpose here on earth was to prepare the way for the Messiah. He was aware that He was not greater than our Savior. In fact, He must become less so that Jesus will be glorified in His life. Just like John, we are also called to be God’s messenger to those who are lost and broken. We are here to also glorify Jesus in our lives. Let’s always remember what John said. Let’s choose to lift up Jesus despite the things that we’ve been through. Let His light…

    Day 387 – Luke 5:11

So they pulled their boats up on the shore, left everything and followed Him. Luke 5:11, NIV Simon, James, and John witnessed a miracle that Jesus performed. He showed them what it feels like when He moves. But despite the wonderful miracle that they experienced, they did not stay with the blessing, but instead, they left everything and followed Jesus. This is a wonderful reminder for us to fix our eyes on Jesus and not on the miracles that He did in our lives. Let’s follow where He goes because it’s Him who knows our purpose here on earth. Without Him, we are nothing. He alone can lead us to…
