We Trust In The Name Of The Lord Our God
Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. Psalm 20:7, NIV In David’s time, the kings usually trusted their chariots and horses. This represents the material things or possessions that they acquire or perhaps their human strengths. Their confidence was rooted in their earthly treasures. But then, unlike many of those kings, David trusted in the Name of God. He acknowledged the truth that it’s God who can help him.
