Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Matthew 23:45, NIV Jesus doesn’t want hypocrites. So stop focusing on the outside. Instead, deal with the things that are important to God. Work on the matters of your heart. The way you look would mean nothing if you couldn’t clean the inside. Allow God to purify your soul. Come to Him and let His love take away the bitterness in your heart.
