The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name. Acts 5:41, NIV The apostles chose to rejoice in the presence of God despite of the suffering that they experienced. For them, sacrificing their lives for the sake of the gospel is already a great victory. Not everyone is given the chance to experience these kinds of moments.
