    I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. 1 Timothy 1:12-13 Paul considered himself a recipient of God’s mercy. He believed that it was an honor to serve God.     Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me. John 12:26, NIV If you wanted to serve Jesus, then you need to follow His ways. It may not be that easy, but He will always be with you. Choose to love the people around you. They may sometimes fail to appreciate the things that you do but continue to do good things for them.
