We live every day searching for something or someone that will bring us happiness and joy. We do well in life, work, and earn to buy things and provide ourselves with stuff that will make us happy. We travel and find a place that will create peace and happiness. We write to express how happy we are, and we laugh to convey that we are having fun. We have creative hobbies that will escape us from pain and things that make us stressed.

Being happy and joyful is one thing that all of us long for. Sometimes we associate it with these things – achievements, victories, battles won, etc. We forget that they can be created, not just found in things we associate them with.

Take a look, observe and feel the things around you. Breathe the air that God provided for you. The trees, the plants, the living things surrounding you, and even the weather that God made, aren’t they beautiful too?

There were moments in our lives wherein we see ourselves as undeserving of His love. That is because we believe in lies. They tell us that we do not have a claim on the good things that He gave. We might have let ourselves believe in something that loses sight of His greatness, but it is not too late to go back or look for it. Let His creations remind us of His magnificence.

You deserve to be happy and joyful amidst everything happening in your life. Remember that God will always choose to love you no matter what happens. So choose to be satisfied with Him. In Him, happiness does not always mean you’re smiling. You can find rest in His arms, and it will give you the joy you deserve. In Him, things are boundless.

God provided us with blessings to help us throughout the day and the days to come. God does not want us to realize that happiness isn’t something to be bought, nor is it something that needs sacrifice. God is the God of joy and happiness. It has no boundaries.

He can give you happiness and joy that is indestructible. Just like how He sets everything before you, and like how He provided you with things you need to live, He can also freely give you the joy and happiness of His love. So lay your burdens on Him and let Him carry them with you. Let God direct you to things He wants, and you’ll find happiness in Him.
