Thank God for unanswered prayers

You may not appreciate
His ways for now
But He is just protecting you
From the wrong path

Sometimes, what you want
Is not what you truly need
What you thought is good
Doesn’t always meant for you

Just because you badly desire
To receive your prayers
Doesn’t mean
He will answer all of them

God knows you better
Than you know yourself
So trust in Him
And wait for His plans to unfold

Be patient
And choose to surrender
God alone knows what’s ahead and
Be grateful for the ‘No’s’ and the rejections
