The Best Gift that you can Receive

There’s this gift that God wants us to receive. It looks simple and ordinary, but in reality, it is so expensive. It’s something that the world can never give. It’s something that comes from heaven. This gift will take you to eternity. But the sad truth is not everyone is willing to receive this precious gift. Some would hesitate. Maybe because they are scared that it might fail them in the end. Maybe they just don’t have the faith to receive it, just like how a kid would welcome a new friend. This gift is so valuable. It was bought at a price that we could never repay. He is Jesus, the One who can save and redeem us from hell. He is the One who can take us to heaven.

Jesus is the way. There is no other path that leads us to the throne of God. He is the only Son who chose to come down on earth and shed His blood for our sake. He could’ve stayed in heaven with our Father Almighty, but He chose to follow God’s command and gave us the opportunity to experience eternity with Him. He chose to live here on earth, and He carried the sins of the word. He suffered and died so that He could take us to heaven. Imagine this kind of love. It’s something that you can never easily fathom. Why would a God choose to save imperfect humans? Why would He allow His precious Son to suffer just for us to be set free? This is the kind of love that transforms life.

So choose to receive Him. Let His grace lead you to live a life full of faith and love. Let His sacrifice reminds you how important and valuable you are. You just need to open your heart and humbly accept the truth that you are chosen and loved. This may feel impossible because perhaps you can’t experience this thing from the people around you. Maybe you went through so many challenges to the point that you already gave up, hoping that true love exists. Maybe you are so tired because of too much pain. But God is real. His love is perfect. He is faithful, and He is always there – waiting.

This is the best gift that you could ever receive. His salvation is free. Following Jesus may be costly, but His grace is always available for you. You just need to respond and accept Him fully in your life. You need to make a choice. You need to take a step closer to Him. You need to also hold His hands. He may pursue you again and again, but He will always respect your free will. He will wait until you are ready, but I hope that when that day comes, everything will never be too late.
