The full armor of God

Put on the whole armor of God
So that you can take your stand
Against the devil’s scheme
Against the devil’s plan

Put on the belt of truth
Remind yourself of His truth
Believe in Him, not the enemies
Because He knows what’s going on

Put on the breast of righteousness
Always do what’s right in His eye
Follow His commands
And choose to walk with God

Put on shoes of readiness
Be ready to share His gospel
Let His peace give you the grace
To keep moving despite all the fears

Put on the shield of faith
Believe in His promises
Let your faith be greater than fears
Keep on walking beyond the uncertainty

Put on the helmet of salvation
Declare that you are saved
Jesus rescued you from eternal suffering
He will completely restore you

Put on the sword of the spirit
The word of God
Is there to defeat the enemy
Just like a sword slaying negative voices

Let your anxious thoughts
Be calmed by His words
Use it consistently and remember
And you’ll overcome the enemy
