The Hard Stuff Will Push You To Grow Up

Don’t take every negative thing in your life as something that will destroy you. Behind the pain and struggles is God’s favor. You have to look at the brighter side to see the blessings. Don’t rely on your own understanding. Sometimes, when we go through trials, our first response is to question God’s will. We tend to judge Him according to the situation that we are in,  not knowing that He is working behind the scenes. The hard stuff He allowed you to face can push you to become a better person. It opens your eyes to the things that you need to change. It renews your mind and allows you to experience more of His love.

Allow the difficult moments to give you some life-changing lessons. Focus on the opportunities that God provided. He is giving you a favor. You need to give up your own understanding so that God’s wisdom will reign. You need to let go of your biases so that you will receive a heavenly perspective. When that happens, your faith will grow, and you will appreciate God’s hands moving in the midst. You will be more sensitive of His ways because your eyes are now fixed on Him. God will point out the lessons that you must learn. And He will teach you how to practically apply them in your life. Only then will you be able to appreciate His ways despite the heavy burden that you are carrying.

Be patient when God wants you to endure the challenging and painful process. Acknowledge your feelings, but don’t be consumed with all your worries and fears. Remember God’s faithfulness so you will have the strength to hold on. Don’t be in a hurry. You may have a timeline, but you must respect God’s perfect timing. He knows what you need. Trust Him because He sees your future. There may be things you can’t understand for now, but everything will soon make sense.

God wants you to grow. He wants you to reach the potential that He sees in you. And He sometimes does it by allowing you to go through challenges. It’s when you will learn how to step outside your comfort zone. The trials will push you to change your wrong perspective, and it will motivate you to keep growing. The storms are not necessarily God’s punishment. Most of the time, it’s His way of inviting you to grow with Him. Behind the difficulties is God’s invitation for you to come and stay connected to Him faithful.
