The Hidden Treasure Behind The Word “Humility”
When was the last time you felt truly inspired, so filled with purpose that you couldn’t help but step outside your comfort zone? What is it that ignites that fire within you, pushing you forward despite the challenges?
These are the questions I ask myself whenever I feel drained or lost. They help me reconnect with the purpose behind my actions. And when I remember my “why,” I find the courage to keep going.
Often, in those moments of doubt, God reminds me of the true meaning of “humility.” This word has a way of steering me back on track, especially when my motivation wavers and I struggle to give my all.
I’ve come to realize that humility is about shifting my focus from my own limitations to the well-being of others. It’s about loving and caring for the broken, even when my heart feels too weary to care. Humility drives me to serve God’s people with all that I have, even when I’m exhausted.
Hidden Treasure
These are the hidden treasures of humility. It re-centers me, reminding me that my efforts are not for my own benefit, but for the sake of God and those He has placed in my life. It reminds me that I strive not for personal success, but to bring hope to the wounded souls God has entrusted to me.
This word leads me to do the things I never did before. It pushed me to become a better person.
So, whenever I feel like I want to quit, I would often remind myself to be humble.
It’s like telling myself that I still have some work to do. There are still people who need some hope and help. I need to get up because someone out there is still waiting to receive the light that God wants me to share.
