The Important Moments In Life

How do you imagine yourself when you reach the age of 70? What are the memories that you would like to reminisce? Is it the things that you learned in school? Or the happy memories that you have with your family and friends? Will you still remember the times when you get so nervous about your exams or the unexpected moments you experienced with strangers?

Sometimes, we are just so occupied with the experiences that will not last for a lifetime. We keep on worrying about the stuff that we think will matter in the end, and we tend to ignore the moments we have with our loved ones. Before you continue with your life, try to pause for a while and review the things that will genuinely make you happy. Because when you get old, you will reminisce those memories with so much gladness.

Store up something that you can keep inside your heart. Cease every moment that you have with your loved ones. Treasure it to the point that every time you remember those moments, you will also recall the feelings and the emotions that you have during those times. Even the simple moments that happen in your life already made a difference. You just have to open your heart for it. Stop looking at things that you don’t have. Learn to live with the blessings that God provided for you.

Just be grateful for everything. Maybe you are looking forward to your dreams to come true, and you are hoping that you will experience it soon, but remember that there are a lot of situations in your present that you once dreamed of. You fail to treasure it because you are just focusing on what’s ahead and tend to forget your present. You only live once. Always remember that.

You can never turn back time. And you can never get back to the moments you used to have. So before it’s too late, learn to cherish it with all your heart. I hope when you get old, you will always have a lot of fun memories to remember. May you always recall the people who became part of your joy and the unforgettable situations you encountered with them. This life is not perfect, but I hope that you will always have enough memories that will make you realize that despite the hardships you encountered, this life is still worth living.
