The Light in my Darkest Night
When I was in pain
When I am going through difficult moments
When I can’t find hope within
His light was there
When I am so wounded
When my heart was about to shatter
When I can’t handle the challenges
His light was there
I just can’t see it
Because I was so focused on myself
I can’t feel His presence
Because I listened to the lies of the enemy
But when I hold on to His promises
When I choose to listen to His word
And meditate on it
I realized that His light was always there
He never stops shining
He is with me in my darkest night
He never leaves me
His light never fails to guide me
