The Only One who Witnessed the Whole Process
We sometimes strive to make things perfect for the sake of those people who never really care for us. We change the way we dress, aim for greater goals and work hard to earn more so that we can make others proud of us. But at the end of the day, pleasing them can never make us truly happy. That’s because we are not wired to please everybody. We are created to glorify the only audience who witnessed the whole process. From the time you are born and up to this moment, God is there watching over you. He is the only One that you should adore and not those people who keep on demanding unreachable expectations.
You can now rest and please God above all else. You don’t have to listen to the standards of other people. They may give you their expectations, but you are not responsible for their joy. Focus on the purpose that God planted in your heart and choose to walk with Him. Don’t allow the negative comments of other people to destroy the way you look at yourself. Remember who you are in the eyes of God. Listen to Him because He is your Creator. Rest in His presence and stop worrying about what other people think about you.
Work for His glory and not for other people’s approval. Focus on God and treat Him as your King. Imagine that in everything you do, God is there watching over you. Let the works of your hands magnify the goodness of your loving Creator. He is the only One who sees all the efforts and sacrifices that you offer for others. He witnessed your most devastating moment as well as your victorious days. So fix your gaze on Him because He loves you. Allow other people to help you grow, but don’t treat them as your idols. Remind yourself that your goal is to please the One and only King.
God appreciates every little thing that you do for Him. He is aware of all your pain and hardships. He knows that you are doing the best that you can to make your life better. He sees you. He listens to your cry, and He is there helping you every step of the way. So don’t be bothered by the lies that you hear from other people. What matters most is that the One who witnessed your growth is always there rooting for you.
