The Pain behind the Pruning Season

If you want to grow and bear fruit, then you need to allow God to prune you. It takes pain and brokenness, but you need to trust Him because behind what you feel are great blessings that will change your life for the better. There are things in life that we thought good for us, but God sees what’s ahead. He knows what’s best for you. If He takes away certain people or things in your life, then it means that He prepared something better. And you can only see His perspective the moment you change your heart and character. In order to do that, He allows you to go through hardships so that your eyes and heart will be opened for His instructions. Be patient and be a good student. Just remember that the pain you are carrying will never be in vain. One day, when you look back and see the scars in your heart, you will realize that God’s hands are always there to pick you up. He will turn your story into a living testimony of His goodness and great love.

Let the lessons you learned transform you into a better person. Be humble and acknowledge the things that you need to change. The pain exists not to break your heart but to teach you something very important. So instead of focusing on your emotions, allow God to reign in your life. Listen to His voice, and He will reveal to you the things that you need to let go of. He is concerned about your character. That’s why the circumstances that you experienced will test your perspective and the way you look at yourself.

He wants to strengthen your foundation. So that you will not just bear fruit, but you will also bless the people around you. It takes a teachable heart to accept the painful truth hidden inside. That’s why when it’s hard for you to acknowledge His ways, then just remind yourself that God is powerful than anyone else. You need Him in your life. So depend on His instructions and not on your own knowledge.

Allow God to comfort you along the way. Don’t carry the burdens on your own. Sometimes, the reason why the pain is already too heavy for you to carry is that you try to face it alone. Know that God is always with you, and He is just waiting for you to come to His presence. Treat Him as your closest friend. Share all your worries and cares to Him, and know that He is listening. He is the only one who understands your heart.

He sees what you’ve been through, and He knows the stories behind your tears. Just trust in His love and find rest in His arms. Receive His peace and stop fighting the battles alone. Stay close to His heart so that you will be reminded about the reason why you need to go through that pain. You may not understand everything for now, but continue to abide in His ways, and you will see the light ahead. Keep walking, and when you feel so tired, come to His presence and embrace His love.

One day, your pain will become blessings not just for yourself but also for others. God will turn the pruning season of your life into a story that will uplift broken souls. You will not fully comprehend His plans for now, but trust that He can turn things around. He purposely designed the obstacles and circumstances that you need to face so that you will be molded and you will discover your potential. You are more than who you think you are. And soon, you will discover the hidden talents and skills that He gave you. Just learn the basic things first so that He can teach you more. Let Him mold your character and change your perspective. Only then will you experience more in His presence.
