The Person Who Encourages You The Most Needs Encouragement Too
I’m always amazed with those people who can easily offer some time for you especially when you are down and in pain. They are those people who can connect to the deepest part of your heart and they are always willing to listen. They give so many encouraging words and they will cheer you up in the middle of your problems.
Those people can be your leaders, pastors, parents or even your friends. They are the people you look up to. You find them so matured and full of wisdom. You consult them every time you feel so miserable and you know in yourself that you can always ask some help to them every time you find yourself struggling.
Those kind of people are truly a blessing from God. They are like angels who always remind us to hold on and never give up. We may think that they are living a perfect life because they somehow see the goodness behind everything but the truth is they are also human, and they also feel brokenness and pain. They also need someone who can genuinely listen to them.
That’s why, include those people in your prayers. Pray that God will shield them from the forces of the enemy. Pray that God will always comfort them every time they feel weak and broken. Pray that they will always receive the love of God so that they can always feel secured and protected.
Sometimes, because of too much worries and problems, we always seek to find comfort, may it be from the arms of God or from the arms of our leaders and friends. We are so occupied with what we are facing to the point that we tend to forget the people around us. We are so full of ourselves and forget to serve others.
If you know someone who always encourage you. Someone who always comfort and listen to you. Please be there for them when they need you. We may not see it directly, but deep inside their hearts those people are also looking for someone they can always count on every time they face difficulties in life. Don’t just easily leave them behind.
Lastly, if you are that person who always encourage others. I would like to say, “Thank you for sharing your life with the people around you. I may not know what you are going through right now, but know that God truly appreciates everything that you do for His glory. Please do continue to encourage others and when that moment comes when you experience hardships, don’t forget to ask some help. We are all God’s children, we are in one family and we need each other.”
